Clearing out the piping of the aquaponics system

A lot has been happening in preparation for the Fiji College of Theology and Evangelism's vocational training program. A draft curriculum and business plan has been developed, the aquaponics system is back up and running after being offline due to the cyclone, and a preliminary plan for agricultural development has been drawn up.

Additionally, a name has been chosen for the program. This may seem like a minor detail, but as we know from Scipture, names often tell quite a bit about one's character and direction. I'd like to think that the name of the training school will help to set a vision that glorifies God and effectively sends ambassadors of the truth of His Gospel in Latouka, the country of Fiji and the entire South Pacific.

The name chosen is The GRACE Institute, which stands for God's Resources and Compassion Education. The vision of the college is to use the resources that God has given- a bountiful land and a community of believers at the college- to share both the physical and spiritual realities of the Gospel to those in the nearby area who may be suffering. In doing so, the hope is to raise up locals using out of poverty using education and develop disciples of Christ who can lead others in their communities.
